E16: He will do it. Word: 1 Thessalonians 5:24 ‘The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it’
‘Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.’ This is the verse of 1 Thessalonians 5 that you know all too well. Then he said, 'This is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you' (verse 18). But before this verse, he says something more important. ‘And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves(13).’
‘Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.’(14) and says, ‘See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.’(15) God tells us to be patient to the end. 1 Peter 3:17 says, “It is better, if it is God’s will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil’. 4:13 says, ‘But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.' It is the will of God to rejoice in suffering and to endure to the end, thinking that we are blessed.
