E- 5: Inquire God, obey the Word.
Word: 1 Chronicles 14:16 “So David did as God commanded him, and they struck down the Philistine army, all the way from Gibeon to Gezer”
In today's Chapter 14, verse 10 and 14, David says, "David inquired of God," and "David inquired of God again." David inquired of God again how to fight against Philistine army even though he is king. Why? It says in verse 2, “And David knew that the Lord had established him as king over.” David knew that he had not become king by his own ability and by his own power. Do you think you will be here today with your abilities and powers? We must realize that without God's grace we cannot be where we are. Then I have to follow your words. David fought according to God's command. I didn't let my thoughts intervene at all. Of course, obedience brought victory.
He who believes, lives by confessing that the chief of his life is God. Those who believe in it are the bondservants that God called, at the same time, the chosen child. The bondservants must inquire about all things for the master, and obey his command.
Christians are the ones who know that God is the chief of our lives. When you know it, you have to ask the Lord about everything in life. Please tell me what to do with God. You have to pray.
